Building on the success of last year’s pilot, CaGBC is pleased to introduce a new lineup of Innovation Series events to explore the latest solutions and strategies for addressing specific technical and market challenges in the construction of high-performance sustainable buildings.

In 2020, the Innovation Series will include three Forums on the following topics:

  • Understanding Embodied Carbon (featuring an overview of CaGBC’s Zero Carbon Building Standard v2);
  • Leveraging Smart Building Technology; and
  • Navigating Alternative Energy Solutions.

The first Forum in Toronto will be focused on Understanding Embodied Carbon and will feature the launch of Version 2 of CaGBC’s Zero Carbon Building Standard.
What is the Innovation Series?
The Innovation Series encourages education and dialogue around leading-edge solutions to the green building industry’s biggest challenges in creating high-performing and resilient buildings, communities, and cities of the future.

These interactive sessions provide attendees with insight into innovative technologies, highlight case studies on successful projects, and discuss the optimal design strategies for achieving sustainability goals.
