June 23, 2016 - During the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) 2016 Summer Conference, participants learned about sustainability market drivers, environmental product declarations (EPDs) and more during a presentation by industry specialist, Anna Nicholson. Nicholson is UL's EPD product manager, and works to develop strategic partnerships and programs that drive business value from the use of environmental life cycle information as the basis of decision making.
Raising the level of event execution, performance and member value was the common theme at Fenestration Canada's Annual General Meeting held last week, and the hilly venue in Mont Tremblant, Que., could not have been more appropriate. Delegates were literally lifted to the top of a mountain for the welcome reception Thursday night, where the creativity and organizational skills of the AGM Committee and the new show management team, Zzeem, were on full display. The next day, Fenestration Canada helped delegates to elevate their businesses with an excellent education program featuring exclusive talks by hard-to-find experts.
The Fenestration Manitoba golf tournament scheduled for June 1 had to be postponed due to heavy rain that left too much water on the course. The association will host the tournament Sept. 15 at Rossmere Country Club in Winnipeg, instead.
April 28, 2016 - The second day of Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg, Germany, featured even bigger crowds and a palpable buzz through the crowded exhibition halls.
March 4, 2016 - The stage is set for the 5th annual Rangate Euro Tour, which takes place from March 9-19, 2016. Feb. 18, 2016 - Fenestration Canada is pleased to announce a number of exciting changes for their annual trade show – WinDoor North America. The Association has made significant changes to its signature event. For the first time in 22 years, the trade show takes place November 15 to 17, 2016, in a new location and under new show management – Zzeem Inc. In addition, the press conference will launch WinDoor’s fresh, new look and feel.

Nov. 26, 2015 - Roto Fasco Canada made its presence known at Windoor 20015, an event that is widely regarded as one of the best fenestration shows in the industry. Held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from November 3-5, Windoor drew more than 100 window and door fabricators and hardware manufacturers and hundreds of visitors from across Canada and the United States, and around the world.
Nov. 6, 2015 - The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) welcomed Ken Gronbach as keynote speaker for the AAMA 2015 National Fall Conference. Gronbach is a demographer, futurist and author who writes about how countries’ age curves interact to create the opportunities and challenges of the world we live in today and what the future will bring for people, profits and the planet. Gronbach spoke about his research and work on Mon., Oct. 19, during the conference.
Nov. 6, 2015 - The age of transparency is here, and it’s a major focus of green building standards and codes, said Aaron Smith, director of sustainable building solutions for ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions. Smith, LEED® AP BD+C, gave a presentation called Opening the Door to Transparency - LEED v4, EPDs and HPDs at the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) 2015 Fall Conference.
Windoor 2015 welcomed about 600 window and door fabricators to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Nov. 3 through 5. The show featured a new layout, new times and new approaches to speakers and product education. Exhibitors reported strong traffic and excellent attendee quality, especially on the second day.
Oct. 22, 2015 - Windoor show organizers have released the schedule for its new Innovation Presentations feature, where exhibitors will take the stage for 10 minutes to highlight their best and newest products. Windoor takes place Nov. 3 to 5 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
