February 1, 2018  By Al Dueck

The fenestration manufacturing industry – including suppliers – come in many different sizes and “shapes” and yet all have the potential to benefit from the investments in technology. Klaes – a Rosenheim, Germany based company with 200 employees in 27 countries – has grown from start up to a global cutting edge status within the window, door and façade industry.

Klaes emphasizes that they are willing and able to flex from straightforward and flexible solutions for component trading to highly integrated and continuous ERP solutions for industrial production, depending on the situation and need.  Below is an example of an interface with Lisec which describes a higher level of integration which can result in many, many benefits in gains of efficiencies and reduced losses, smoother operations in manufacturing.  “Perhaps the most important highlight of industry 4.0 is the data communication between Client-Dealer-Producer and Supply Partner makes the day-to-day work much easier,” says Bernhard Hambruegge, Klaes Manager, “At FenCon18, we will provide many details of how such technology can be made effective – no matter the size of the operation.”
