Supervisor Safety Training

Who should attend?
When employees are promoted to Supervisor, safety training, safety responsibility and accountability are topics that are often overlooked in their initial training.
 
This session is designed to help provide the tools and confidence supervisors need to carry out their safety role. The session covers the fundamentals every supervisor needs to know in order to provide a safe working environment and meet their legal requirements.
 
This session is ideal for new supervisors and experienced supervisors alike.

Site Surveying for Glaziers
This session is designed for glaziers interested in learning skills and principals to successfully run level loops, transfer and establish benchmarks on construction sites, and determine the elevations of objects independently and/or relative to each other.  You will also be learn how to use a total station to do a basic layout.

Construction Estimating

Audience:
The course is designed for construction estimators and those with experience in construction that desire to be estimators or improve their knowledge of estimating.

The course is eligible for 5 CCA Gold Seal education credits upon successful completion.

Hazard Recognition and Control

This session is designed to provide participants the required knowledge to understand the principle of hazard recognition and control as well as the methods used to ensure hazards are identified and adequately addressed in the workplace. At the end of the sessions participants will have an understanding of the requirements for identifying hazards, the tools required to assess the identified hazards and score them by priority, and methods to take the information gathered and develop Safe Work Procedures to mitigate the hazards.
