Fenestration Canada educates on energy and performance

Fenestration Canada, partnered with buildAbility to present a seminar on fenestration energy design, performance and regulations on March 24 in Toronto.  Jeff Baker Fenestration Canada’s technical consultant delivered a comprehensive presentation explaining fenestration fundamentals. Topics such as heat transfer, how low-e coatings work and how different spacer and frame materials perform were discussed. Performance indicators and regulations were examined and explained. 

The seminar attracted architects, engineers, home builders and fenestration industry members.  Attendees engaged with Baker in a interesting discussion of energy related fenestration issues.  This knowledge based seminar is offered to the building community and was the second in a series of fenestration related events sponsored by Fenestration Canada and the buildAbility network.
