Sept. 4, 2014 – Fenestration Canada has scheduled a series of information seminars designed to update window and door fabricators, builders, specifiers, architects and code officials dealing with the compliance of fenestration products to provincial building codes referencing the North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS-08).

Sept. 4, 2014 – Fenestration Canada has scheduled a series of information seminars designed to update window and door fabricators, builders, specifiers, architects and code officials dealing with the compliance of fenestration products to provincial building codes referencing the North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS-08).

Three topics  covered in separate presentations are:
 
Status Update on Code implementation and compliance ( Monday, Sept. 15)
–      The latest information on the status of building code adoption, compliance and requirements across Canada

NAFS – Labeling Guidelines (Tuesday, Sept. 16)
–      An overview of the best practices for NAFS labeling basic units as well as composite unit and combination assembly fenestration products

Practicality of Code Applications and Requirements (Wednesday, Sept. 17)
–      Presentation of practical considerations to help fabricators deal with compliance issues

Each webinar will be 30 – 40 minutes duration with opportunity for questions.
