Fenestration Manitoba represents some 25 window and door manufacturers in Manitoba, employing directly and indirectly more than 4,000 people. Window manufacturing has a very important place in Manitoba as it has generated some of Canada’s largest and most successful business operations. Additionally, the Manitoba window industry has proven to be industry leaders world wide as it has been the source of global innovations such as high performance triple pane glass and pultruded fiberglass windows and doors. The Manitoba window and door companies have also become important generators of jobs as a sizeable portion of their production is shipped outside the province within either Canada, the USA or offshore.
