July 6, 2017 – Roto Frank AG has acquired Union Ltd., a manufacturer based near Shanghai, China. The acquisition will help Roto Frank strengthen and expand its window and door technology division.
Union Ltd., with approximately 450 employees, has had a long term relationship with Roto Frank as a supplier of zinc and aluminium die-cast parts. In addition to die-casting, the company’s capabilities include powder-coating and injection moulding.
Although management responsibility for Union Ltd. will be transferred to Roto Frank in the short-term, the company will continue to operate as an independent business in the future and will serve as a wholly owned subsidiary of Roto Frank AG.
Dr. Eckhard Keill, Chairman of Roto AG’s Executive Board, noted that the acquisition is the “next step of an offensive strategy that is fully focused on meeting market and customer requirements all over the world.”
