Marcie Wilson joins Fenestration Manitoba

Marcie Wilson joins Fenestration Manitoba as the association’s new executive director. In her new role, Wilson will provide administrative, event and marketing support to the FenMB board to help further its mission of representing and supporting all aspects of the Manitoba window and door manufacturing industry, including formulating and promoting high standards of quality in manufacturing, design, marketing, distribution, sales and application of all types of window and door products.

For almost 25 years, Marcie has been helping business professionals accomplish their goals. She spent almost 18 years working for a Manitoba-based Office Coffee Service where she was encouraged to envision and implement many different projects, from a private label line of coffee to new accounting systems to websites, e-stores and social media accounts. Many of these solutions had a strong focus on sustainability and supporting the local communities where the coffee was grown as well as where it was sold. In 2020, she had the pleasure of working for a local window & door component manufacturer where she was introduced to the board of Fenestration Manitoba. When the opportunity to join the organization as their Executive Director presented itself, she was very excited to use her skills to help Fenestration Manitoba accomplish their mission.

“Marcie is a valuable asset to Fenestration Manitoba. Marcie has continued to organize and promote Fenestration Manitoba to the manufacturers and suppliers of window and door products in the province and beyond. With her creative expertise, she has suggested and is implementing ideas that only will enhance the mission of strengthening Fenestration Manitoba and window and door products made in Manitoba,” said Gordon Seier, architectural consultant, AGM.

“The fenestration industry in Manitoba has a long history of innovation that has impacted the window and door industry world-wide. I am exited for the opportunity to work with local industry leaders to tell these stories and raise the profile of the fenestration industry in Manitoba,” said Wilson.
