July 28, 2017 – Here’s a really interesting robot concept that’s been developed at Stanford University in the U.S. A flexible tube is inflated from the inside and can be extended, retracted and moved in any direction by controlling the airflow. The interior channel can carry liquid dispensers, cameras, power/communication lines, antennas and more. Applications for building inspection? Plant maintenance? Maybe even window installation?
