Sept. 19, 2012 – All Weather Windows will be having a Factory Blitz
Build Saturday, Sept. 22, commencing at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast,
and lasting until approximately 1 p.m. It will take place at its
facility at 3100 Caravelle Drive, Mississauga, Ont.

Over 60 AWW employees will donate their personal time to build windows
for 11 new Habitat for Humanity homes in southern Ontario within this
period, then donate them to the Habitat affiliates.

"All Weather
is doing this first and foremost to give the poorer working people a
hand up," Henry Banman, senior vice-president of AWW explains. "Since we
are in the housing business across Canada we seek to invest in our
communities where we do business. Many of our employees have come
through difficult circumstances as well and would like to be involved in
a tangible way. They did a great job earlier this year at our Edmonton
plant where we built the doors and windows for 20 Habitat homes. We aim
to do 11 at this Saturday’s build in Mississauga."
