Dec. 10, 2014 - Clearview Industries has announced the appointment of John Campacci as its business development manager. Campacci brings 25 years of experience as a sales manager and business development manager in the window and door industry, primarily in the patio door market.

Nov. 7, 2014 - AmesburyTruth has announced the hiring of its new Director of Marketing, Kevin Anez. With more than 21 years of experience in the building materials industry, Anez comes to AmesburyTruth from Viracon, where he was Director of Marketing and Product Management for the architectural commercial glass business.
One of the goals of trade magazines is to act as a kind of internal conversation within a national industry. Since an industry is not one entity but rather a conglomerate of companies, individuals and other organizations, all the “bits” need to talk to each other if there is to be any hope of forming a common culture. Forming a common culture in the window and door industry is probably not something you budget for each year. But without one, business sectors lack identity and are easily ignored by suppliers, governments and the public. They miss opportunities for shared learning, networking, and developing shared practices that reassure the consumer and help everyone to make money.

Sept. 17, 2014 - The Canadian Association of Women in Construction (CAWIC) launched its Women's Advancement Project in Calgary, Alberta today. CAWIC continues to call on the industry to join forces with CAWIC to address the shortage of skilled trades in Canada by promoting the advancement of women into leadership roles within the construction industry.

May 29, 2014 - Fenzi North America has announced the addition of key Sales and Technical support, for its growing Insulated Glass Components business in Canada, the United States and Latin America. Bob Lalonde, based in Montreal, Quebec has been appointed as Regional Sales Manager for Quebec and Eastern Canada, while Joe Ruggiero, based in Philadelphia, PA has been appointed to Technical Sales and Service.
May 28, 2014 - All Weather Windows paid EuGénie Canada and JRC Machinery a visit last week, in Terrebonne. Scott Walker (VP Manufacturing), Eddie Damasco (Manufacturing) and Daryl Egervari (Maintenance) put their final stamp of approval on their new completely automated door machining line.
May 16, 2014 - Van Mark Products Corporation is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2014. Founded in 1964 by Gene Van Cleave, Van Mark has become known for manufacturing portable jobsite bending brakes and installation tools for the residential and commercial construction industries.
