Quanex Building Products names new technical services director

April 14, 2014 – Quanex Building Products has promoted Vince Warne to director of technical services. Warne is an industry veteran, previously working as part of the Quanex Insulating Glass Systems team and serving in many roles, including production supervisor, standard spacer business unit manager, operations manager and process engineering manager.

April 14, 2014 – Quanex Building Products has promoted Vince Warne to director of technical services. Warne is an industry veteran, previously working as part of the Quanex Insulating Glass Systems team and serving in many roles, including production supervisor, standard spacer business unit manager, operations manager and process engineering manager.

“Quanex has always focused on advancing the technical support side of our business,” said Warne. “Our quality and operations teams that I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of have worked diligently to further improve our products we offer our customers. I’m looking forward to bringing my product experience to this role and working with our Technical Services team to further optimize the spacer application process for our customers.”
 
Most recently, Warne served as director of quality for Quanex Insulating Glass Systems where he worked in collaboration with the customer service, quality and production teams to overcome specific product quality challenges and enhance customer service levels.  Additionally, he has assisted in global quality initiatives to further support international customers, while supporting the transition of the Truseal product manufacturing to Cambridge, Ohio.
 
Warne will continue to work at the Cambridge location and looks forward to bringing value to his new role.
