Windows seminar coming to Toronto area

Feb. 10, 2015 – Fenestration Canada will present an educational program called The Windows Seminar on March 31 at the Thornhill Golf and Country Club in Thornhill, Ont. Fenestration Canada technical consultant, Jeff Baker, will moderate the session with other industry experts. Cost for the seminar is $150 plus HST, with group rates available.

Fenestration Canada technical consultant, Jeff Baker, will moderate the session with other industry experts. Cost for the seminar is $150 plus HST, with group rates available. This seminar sponsored by Fenestration Canada will provide architects, engineers, builders,and fenestration industry professionals with a solid understanding of critical fenestration issues that they face on a daily basis. The seminar will focus on a number of key areas:
- Window basics – picking the right window that balances performance and cost
- Beyond R-values – What window characteristics define thermal performance?
- Easy ways to comply with Ontario’s SB12 energy code
- What is the North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS) and how has it changed code compliance in Ontario?
- Net-zero houses – why fenestration technology matters so much
- The newest fenestration technology – vacuum glazing, smart glass and other technologies.
