Fenestration Canada is seeking testimonials from members to add to its communications to the Ontario government regarding the cancellation of the GreenON window rebate program. The association released the following message:
As you are aware, the Ontario GreenON Rebate program was cancelled abruptly, with no notice. In some cases, there is simply not enough time to complete and submit projects that have already been contracted.
Fenestration Canada would like the incoming government to review their position related to window rebates in the GreenON program and extend the completion of window installation deadline to December 31, 2018 and the submission of paper work deadline to January 31, 2019.
Fenestration Canada is writing a letter to the Ontario Government and Doug Ford, expressing our concerns on this issue. We’d like that letter to reflect our member concerns as well. Please send us your testimonials expressing how the cancellation of the GreenON Rebate program has impacted you, your business and your customers torafa@fenestrationcanada.ca by Friday July 6, 2018 EOD (end of day).
