Kolbe launches new responsive website
Aug. 9, 2017 - Kolbe Windows & Doors has launched its newly designed website, www.kolbewindows.com, featuring an inspiration gallery, visionary stories, in-depth project profiles with beautiful photography, and extensive resources and videos. To better meet their market's needs, the previous individual sites for homeowners and professionals have been combined into one.
"We are very excited about our new website," says Cindy Bremer, vice president of marketing at Kolbe Windows & Doors. "While creating it, our main priority was user experience and mobile compatibility. We wanted to make it easy to navigate and functional across multiple platforms, while reaching all sectors of our market."
With a fresh update in style and visuals, emphasis has been placed on imagery and video content. Responsive technology creates compatibility with mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers. Architects, builders and homeowners can access the same information, tools and resources in a more user-friendly environment.
"What's New" features the latest news and product introductions, showcasing newly completed projects and industry events. Visuals of Kolbe's "Solutions" for customization, style and design, sustainability, energy efficiency and impact resistance are presented, while "Visionary Stories" from architects and builders recount how these solutions helped them achieve their project goals and satisfy homeowners.
"A great addition to this website is the stunning photography that introduces each page of the site, and illustrates individual projects and the vision behind them," states Bremer. "Videos accompany some of the completed projects, providing both a tour of the structure, as well as interviews with the architects or homeowners."
The inspiring "Gallery" displays stunning imagery of numerous projects. Clicking on a photo prompts product details and information that can be shared through various social media channels.
"Resources" shares professional tools, product ratings, installation instructions and more. The "Architect Library" offers drawings, details and information for residential and commercial building projects. Enhanced functionality makes it easier to find products and preview files before downloading. Additionally, multiple files for a single project can be saved to a folder, zipped and downloaded at once. Trade show schedules, educational programs and product demonstration videos can be found here, as well as brochures, sell sheets, care and maintenance guides, and product warranties.
"We are continuously updating and improving our site, taking customer feedback into consideration as we add new content and functionality. We work toward creating a seamless online experience for all of our customers," adds Bremer.
