ODL, a door and insulated glass supplier, and Pease Doors, a distributor of building products for both professionals and homeowners, have announced they have entered into an agreement for Pease Doors to acquire Zabitat, an ODL subsidiary.  Zabitat offers online direct-to-consumer building materials sales.

“This acquisition helps position Pease Doors as the preeminent direct-to-consumer building materials source for the DIYer looking for high-quality products, reasonably priced, with best-in-class customer service.  We look forward to continuing Zabitat’s commitment to customer service while expanding our reach into new segments and products,” said David Pease, co-president of Pease Doors.

“We are pleased and excited to have Pease Doors acquire the Zabitat business.  Their commitment to providing world class consumer experiences is what led ODL to partner with Pease Doors in this transaction.  We know the business is in good hands,” said Townes Parsley, executive vice-president of sales and marketing at ODL.
